What is Stromboli?

Stromboli was invented back in the 1950s and named after a very popular movie at that time, which was called Stromboli.

Stromboli is an Italian dish, usually prepared with pizza dough and stuffed with fillings. The fillings can be anything from traditional pepperoni and cheese to Italian cold cuts.

Unlike the calzone, the stromboli is usually rolled, while the calzone is typically folded over.

Yes, this is a perfect-make head meal that the entire family will love. Make it per the recipe instructions below, and you can either place it into the refrigerator (covered) and air fry later, or make it and place it into the refrigerator to be reheated.
