Logans Roadhouse Fried Pickle Ingredients

- Pickles: You can use all kinds of pickles for this recipe, some of the best pickles are dill pickle slices, bread sweet pickles, butter, dill pickle spears, whole pickles, or sliced pickles.
- Eggs: use large, room temperature eggs.
- Parmesan Cheese: Use freshly grated parmesan cheese.
- Panko: Or use breadcrumbs, you can also use gluten-free panko breadcrumbs.
- Seasonings and Spices: Fresh Dill
How To Make Logans Roadhouse Fried Pickles

Step One: Spray your air fryer basket with olive oil or cooking spray. Start by draining your pickles, (you can reserve the pickle juice for another recipe) and lay them in a single layer on a paper towel, this will help remove some of the excess juice from the pickles.

Step Two: Then in a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and dill weed. In a shallow bowl, crack the eggs and mix, with a fork, until they are frothy. Then dip the pickle into the egg mixture (Shake it after you dip it so you don’t end up with extra egg) and then into the breadcrumb mixture.
Step Three: After you bread the pickle slices, place them in your air fryer. Spray them with olive oil spray, set the temperature to 390 degrees F, and air fry for 4 minutes. Depending on the air fryer you are using, you may need to cook in small batches.

Step Four: Using tongs, flip them over, spray them with olive oil again, and air fry for another 4-6 minutes. Remove when cooked to golden perfection!

Logans Roadhouse Fried Pickle Recipe Tips
- Drying Your Pickles: Make sure that the pickles are as dried as you can get them. I usually leave them on paper towels. This will help the batter adhere to the pickles, otherwise, it will fall off.
- Timing: Check the pickles, and make sure that they are cooking well, since every air fryer is different, I always suggest checking them halfway during the cooking time, and using your own judgment to figure out how much more time is needed.
- Crowing The Air Fryer Basket: Do not crowd the basket. The pickle chips really need to be spread out so they cook correctly. It is better to do two batches than to have unevenly cooked pickles.
- Seasoning and Spices: Add some other seasonings such as garlic powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Storing, Freezing & Reheating Instructions
- Storing: Keep leftover fried pickles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Avoid stacking too tightly to help preserve their crispiness.
- Freezing: Freeze fried pickles in a single layer on a baking sheet until solid, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag. Store for up to 2 months for best texture and flavor.
- Reheating: Reheat fried pickles in the air fryer or oven at 375°F until hot and crispy. Avoid the microwave, as it makes them soggy.

Logans Roadhouse Fried Pickle Recipe Faqs
What kind of pickles are best for this recipe? Dill pickle chips work best for Logan’s-style fried pickles, but you can also use pickle spears for a heartier bite.
Can I make these fried pickles in the air fryer? Yes! Lightly spray with oil and cook at 375°F for about 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
How do I keep the coating from falling off the pickles? Make sure to pat the pickles dry before dredging in flour and batter—this helps the coating stick better.
What dipping sauce goes with fried pickles? Ranch is the classic choice, but spicy mayo or chipotle aioli also pair deliciously.
Can I make these ahead of time? They’re best served fresh, but you can prep the coated pickles ahead of time and fry right before serving.
