How To Make Easy Air Fried Oreos With Pancake Batter

Step One: Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 3-5 minutes, using the air fryer setting. In a large bowl, whisk together egg, milk, vanilla, and vegetable oil.
Note: You need to preheat the air fyrer, and then add the parchment paper.

Step Two: Stir in pancake mix with a silicone spatula until smooth and incorporated.

Step Three: Line the Air Fryer with Parchment paper and spray or brush with olive oil. Using a fork, submerge Oreos one at a time in the batter and evenly coat on both sides. You can gently flip if necessary. Allow excess batter to drip off before placing it on the prepared air fryer tray. Cook 6 Oreos at a time.

Step Four: Set the air fryer temperature to 370 degrees F. Set cook time for 4 minutes, flip Oreos and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack while cooking the second batch. Repeat steps 4-6 above with the remaining 6 Oreos.

Air Fryer Oreos With Pancake Mix Recipe Tips
- Preheat Your Air Fryer: Preheating ensures even cooking and a perfectly crispy exterior.
- Use a Fork to Dip: Submerge Oreos one at a time to coat evenly and let excess batter drip off.
- Don’t Overcrowd the Basket: Cook 4–6 Oreos at a time to allow proper air circulation for crispiness.
- Flip Halfway Through: Turn Oreos to achieve golden, evenly cooked results on both sides.
- Cool on a Wire Rack: Let Oreos rest after cooking to maintain their crunch and prevent sogginess.
- Optional Toppings: Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate or caramel, or add sprinkles for extra flair.
- Adjust Cook Time if Needed: Air fryers vary; check for crispness and adjust cooking time slightly if necessary.
Storing, Freezing & Reheating Instructions
- Storing: Store cooled Oreos in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Keeping them covered preserves their crispiness and freshness.
- Freezing: Place Oreos in a single layer in a freezer-safe container or bag and freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
- Reheating: Reheat Oreos in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes until warm and crispy. Avoid microwaving, as it can make them soft or soggy.

Air Fryer Oreos With Pancake Mix Recipe Faqs
Can I make these without an air fryer? Yes! You can deep-fry or pan-fry the Oreos in a small amount of oil, but the air fryer keeps them lighter and less greasy.
Can I use a different cookie? Absolutely! Chocolate sandwich cookies, Golden Oreos, or other sandwich cookies work just as well.
Can I make the batter ahead of time? Yes, you can mix the batter in advance and store it in the fridge for a few hours, but don’t dip the Oreos until you’re ready to cook.
How many Oreos can I cook at once? Cook 4–6 Oreos per air fryer basket to ensure proper air circulation and even crisping.
How do I keep them crispy? Cool the Oreos on a wire rack after cooking and serve shortly after for the best crunch.
Can I add toppings? Yes! Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate or caramel, or add sprinkles for extra flair.
How long do leftovers last? Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 1 month.

Love love love! I ended up using a little more pancake mix to thicken it up just a bit, so it wasn’t runny. And they came out amazing! I’m wondering though, what’s the best way to reheat them??
