Olive Garden Toasted Ravioli

If you have ever been to Olive Garden, you probably know about their fantastic appetizers.

They are characterized on the menu as being fried Ravioli filled with seasoned beef. Of course, you could use other flavors, but I stuck with the beef ravioli today since we are doing a copycat version.

In our course, we are using our Air Fryer.

How To Make Air Fryer Olive Garden Toasted Ravioli

Create the breading stations for the ravioli.

Step One: Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Combine breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning and garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a medium shallow bowl. In a small bowl, whisk eggs with water to combine.

Breaded ravioli on the baking sheet, getting ready for air frying.

Step Two: Dip each Ravioli first in flour to coat thoroughly, then shake the excess flour off. Next, dip the flour-coated Ravioli in beaten egg mixture, then shake extra egg off. Finally, thoroughly coat Ravioli in seasoned breadcrumbs and place it on the prepared sheet. Repeat process for all the Ravioli.

Place the breaded ravioli into the air fryer basket, in a single layer.

Step Three: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F, set it to the air fryer setting, and spray the basket with cooking spray. Place the coated Ravioli in the basket in a single layer and generously spray with cooking spray.

Step Four: Cook Ravioli for 8-10 mins, until golden and crispy. Serve warm with marinara sauce or another favorite dip, garnished with chopped parsley, grated parmesan cheese, etc. (optional)

Air Fryer Olive Garden Toasted Ravioli Recipe Tips

  • Italian seasoning could be substituted by your favorite dried herbs (or mix) such as oregano, Greek seasoning, Herbs de Provence, etc.
  • Add cayenne powder or red pepper flakes to the breadcrumbs, Greek seasoning, etc.
  • If your air fryer is smaller, you must cook in batches. Do not overcrowd the air fryer; the Ravioli will not crisp up.
  • Spraying with cooking spray helps to crisp up Ravioli and gives it a nice golden color.
  • Keeps fresh in an airtight container in the fridge for four days and freezer for up to 3 months.

Air Fryer Olive Garden Toasted Ravioli Recipe Faqs

Can I use frozen ravioli for this recipe? Yes, frozen ravioli works perfectly! Just be sure to thaw them slightly before breading to ensure the coating sticks well.

What type of ravioli should I use? You can use cheese, meat, or even spinach-filled ravioli—choose your favorite! This recipe is versatile and works with any variety.

Can I make these ahead of time? Yes! You can bread the ravioli and refrigerate them for a few hours before air frying. This is a great option for meal prepping or hosting.

What dipping sauce goes best with toasted ravioli? Classic marinara sauce is a favorite, but Alfredo sauce or garlic aioli are also delicious options.

Can I use gluten-free breadcrumbs? Absolutely! Swap regular breadcrumbs with gluten-free ones to make the recipe gluten-friendly.

How long do leftovers last? Store leftover toasted ravioli in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes to restore crispiness.

How do I prevent the breading from falling off? Ensure the ravioli are patted dry before breading, and press the breadcrumbs onto the ravioli gently to create a firm coating.
