How To Make Air Fryer Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking soda, salt, and butter. Mix until the butter starts to get softened. Then mix in the brown sugar, sugar, egg, vanilla, oats, and mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Then spray your cast iron pan with olive oil. Pour the dough into the prepared pan.
Set the pan in either the air fryer oven or basket. Set the temperature to 340 degrees F for 10 minutes (air fryer setting)
Can I change out the type of chocolate or add other mix-ins?
The greatest thing about cooking in your own house is that you can change out any of the ingredients for your favorites. So if you prefer white chocolate chips over chocolate chips, add those in. Like nuts, add some. The variations are endless.
Can I use a sugar substitute?
Looking for low sugar or diabetic air fryer treat, feel free to substitute the sugar for a Splenda or other sugar substitute. The recipe will remain the same.
Can this skillet cookie be frozen?
This is a great recipe that you can make ahead of time and then freeze for later. To properly freeze, let the cookie cool to room temperature. Transfer the cookie to a freezer bag or a freezer-safe container. It will last in the freezer for about 1 to 2 months. Place into a freezer bag.
Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, and then heat in the microwave or air fryer before serving.
What Pan Did You Use?
The most common question, I used this small cast iron pan, which I love, and frequently use in my recipes!
