Pro Tips:
Prepare The Basket: Spray your basket with cooking spray, or line it with an Air Fryer Reusable Silicone Liner/Mat.
Crowing The Basket: While we all like to get as much food as possible, crowding the basket causes your dough not fully to cook up. So, for best results, leave space between the rolls.
What Air Fryer To Use: This recipe will work in any Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. This recipe will also work in any Spcificaily Air Fryers, including the Ninja Foodi, Instant Pot Vortex, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and the Mealthy Lid.
Cooking Time: The cooking time will depend on your air fryer. For best results, check on your Air Fryer Hocus Pocus Buns frequently while cooking up. So they don’t end up burnt.
VARIATIONS:
While today, I used a classic recipe for Air Fryer Hocus Pocus Buns, there are many variations.
Some of my favorites worth mentioning are:
Dough: While today, I went with a crescent dough sheet, you can easily use crescent rolls, biscuits, or even frozen rolls (thawed).
Marshmallows: I used a large marshmallow. You can also make these with mini marshmallows and colored ones for a more colorful dessert. Chocolate or Pumpkin flavored marshmallows are other great options.
Coating: I went with the classic granulated sugar and ground cinnamon, but you can also use granulated sugar and pumpkin pie spice. You can also mix powdered sugar and milk, a simple icing, or even add melted chocolate, powdered sugar, and milk for a chocolate drizzle.
