Why Make A Smashburger In The Air Fryer?
Why make a Smashburger in the air fryer? The answer is simple – it’s faster, easier, and healthier! Traditional burgers are typically fried in oil, which can be messy and time-consuming.
Air fryers use superheated air for cooking food, so there’s no need for oil. Plus, air fryers cook food more evenly than traditional methods, so you’re less likely to end up with a dry, overcooked burger. And because air fryers require less oil, they’re also healthier. So if you’re looking for a quick, easy, and healthy way to make burgers, give air frying a try!
Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Copycat Smashburger Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger
Do you love Smashburger? I sure do. Their Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger is my favorite item on the menu. Unfortunately, it’s also one of the most expensive items. That’s where your air fryer comes in! You can make a copycat version of this delicious burger at home for a fraction of the price. All you need are a few simple ingredients. Let’s get started!

- Ground Beef: You can use lean ground beef, which will help your air fryer not to smoke. I recommend using 93/7 or 80/20.
- Mayonnaise: Use low-fat or regular mayo, if you are a fan of Miracle Whip, you can also use that.
- Onions and Mushrooms: I used mushrooms I had on hand, but you can use Cremini, Portobello, or even Baby Mushrooms.
- Truffle Oil: This will give you the taste of the copycat recipe
- Slice Cheese: Use sliced Swiss cheese.
- Spices and Seasonings: Salt, Black Pepper, Seasoned Salt
How To Cook Smashburger Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger in The Air Fryer

Make your burgers, add the ground beef, seasonings, and onions to a large bowl, and combine.
Divide the ground beef into three pieces. Then roll into balls. Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees F for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until it is hot. Add your meat to the air fryer.

Place a small square of wax paper over the meat, and use something to squash down the burger – cook 3-5 min each side. While the meat is cooking, saute your mushrooms, in butter, for a few minutes or until they are softened.
Place the Swiss cheese on top of the burger, and cook at 300 degrees F or until the cheese is melted.
Then to serve: Spread the truffle mayonnaise over the buns, add the burger and some leaven, and then Place the mushrooms once done over the burgers.

Air fryer burgers medium rare
An air fryer is a kitchen appliance that uses circulated hot air to cook food. This method of cooking can result in food that is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Air fryer burgers are a delicious and easy way to make a quick meal. To make air fryer burgers, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, form the burgers into patties and season them with salt, pepper, and other desired seasonings. Then, place the burgers in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping once halfway through. For medium-rare burgers, cook until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Enjoy!
Bubba Burgers air fryer
The air fryer is a perfect solution for those who love bubba burgers but don’t want to deal with the hassle of cooking them on the stovetop. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees, place the burgers in the basket, and cook for about 10 minutes. The burgers will come out nice and juicy, with a crispy exterior.
