We all know and love the Smashburger. It’s a classic American burger done right. But sometimes we don’t want to go out, or we want something a little different than the standard Smashburger. This Air Fryer Copycat Smashburger Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger comes in. With savory mushrooms and rich truffle cheese, it’s just like the real thing – but better because you made it at home! Let’s get cooking!

What Is Smashburger?

What Is Smashburger? Smashburger is a fast-casual restaurant chain founded in Denver, Colorado, in 2007. The company has grown to more than 370 locations across the United States and ten other countries.

What sets Smashburger apart from other burger chains is its commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. All of its burgers are made with 100% Certified Angus Beef and are cooked fresh to order. In addition to burgers, Smashburger also offers chicken sandwiches, salads, and sides. And for those with a sweet tooth, the chain also offers a variety of milkshakes and desserts. Smashburger is an excellent choice whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or a casual dinner.

What’s So Special About Smashburger’s Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger?

What’s So Special About Smashburger’s Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger? The answer is simple: it’s delicious. This burger features a juicy beef patty, savory mushrooms, rich Swiss cheese, and a kick of truffle flavor. But what sets this burger apart is the quality of the ingredients.

The beef is grass-fed and hormone-free, the mushrooms are sustainably sourced, and the Swiss cheese is imported from Switzerland. In addition, the bun is baked fresh daily, and the vegetables are hand-picked. All of this comes together to create a burger that is not only delicious but also environmentally friendly and nutritious. So next time you’re looking for a delicious burger, try Smashburger’s Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger. You won’t be disappointed.

Why Make A Smashburger In The Air Fryer?

Why make a Smashburger in the air fryer? The answer is simple – it’s faster, easier, and healthier! Traditional burgers are typically fried in oil, which can be messy and time-consuming.

Air fryers use superheated air for cooking food, so there’s no need for oil. Plus, air fryers cook food more evenly than traditional methods, so you’re less likely to end up with a dry, overcooked burger. And because air fryers require less oil, they’re also healthier. So if you’re looking for a quick, easy, and healthy way to make burgers, give air frying a try!

Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Copycat Smashburger Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger

Do you love Smashburger? I sure do. Their Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger is my favorite item on the menu. Unfortunately, it’s also one of the most expensive items. That’s where your air fryer comes in! You can make a copycat version of this delicious burger at home for a fraction of the price. All you need are a few simple ingredients. Let’s get started!

Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Copycat Smashburger Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger
  • Ground Beef: You can use lean ground beef, which will help your air fryer not to smoke. I recommend using 93/7 or 80/20.
  • Mayonnaise: Use low-fat or regular mayo, if you are a fan of Miracle Whip, you can also use that.
  • Onions and Mushrooms: I used mushrooms I had on hand, but you can use Cremini, Portobello, or even Baby Mushrooms.
  • Truffle Oil: This will give you the taste of the copycat recipe
  • Slice Cheese: Use sliced Swiss cheese.
  • Spices and Seasonings: Salt, Black Pepper, Seasoned Salt

Place a small square of wax paper over the meat, and use something to squash down the burger – cook 3-5 min each side. While the meat is cooking, saute your mushrooms, in butter, for a few minutes or until they are softened.

Place the Swiss cheese on top of the burger, and cook at 300 degrees F or until the cheese is melted.

Then to serve: Spread the truffle mayonnaise over the buns, add the burger and some leaven, and then Place the mushrooms once done over the burgers.

What To Serve With Your Air-Fried Smashburgers?

What To Serve With Your Air-Fried Smashburgers? What goes great with Smashburger? What sides should you prepare? What drinks should you pour? Here are some of our favorite ideas to get you started!

Chips and dip are always a good choice, and they can be incredibly delicious with air-fried Smashburgers. Pile your chips high and dive in! For a heartier option, roasted potatoes make a great side. They can be served plain or topped with sour cream, cheese, and other toppings. If you’re looking for something lighter, a simple salad goes well with air-fried Smashburger’s. Add your favorite dressing and toppings to create a dish that’s perfect for you. And don’t forget the drinks! A cold beer or soda is the ideal way to wash down your air-fried Smashburger feast. So go ahead and enjoy!

Air fryer burgers medium rare

An air fryer is a kitchen appliance that uses circulated hot air to cook food. This method of cooking can result in food that is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Air fryer burgers are a delicious and easy way to make a quick meal. To make air fryer burgers, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, form the burgers into patties and season them with salt, pepper, and other desired seasonings. Then, place the burgers in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping once halfway through. For medium-rare burgers, cook until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Enjoy!

Bubba Burgers air fryer

The air fryer is a perfect solution for those who love bubba burgers but don’t want to deal with the hassle of cooking them on the stovetop. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees, place the burgers in the basket, and cook for about 10 minutes. The burgers will come out nice and juicy, with a crispy exterior. And since there’s no need to flip them during cooking, they’re easy to make, and cleaning up is a breeze. So next time you’re craving a bubba burger, be sure to give the air fryer a try!

Sides for burgers

What sides come to mind when you think of the classic American burger? French fries are famous, and many restaurants automatically include them with every burger order. But plenty of other delicious sides can complement a burger perfectly.

  • For example, Air Fryer Frozen Onion Rings are a crispy and savory option.
  • Sweet potato Fries add a touch of sweetness.
  • Salad can provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of the burger.
