Today, I paired my Air Fryer Roasted Pizza Chickpeas with a simple garden salad, but this can be a great snack to have as is. It’s amazing! So, hold on, and I will give you the steps and tips to make a great batch of roasted chickpeas!

Ingredients For Air Fryer Roasted Pizza Chickpeas
- Chickpeas
- Oregano
- Basil
- Chili Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Olive Oil
Ingredients For Air Fryer Roasted Pizza Chickpeas
Start by draining your can of chickpeas and then use a kitchen towel and dry the chickpeas. Add the dried chickpeas to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Pour in your olive oil and seasonings.
Add your chickpeas to the air fryer basket or spread them over the air fryer tray. Spread them out so that they are in a single layer, as they will cook more evenly.
Set the timer for 12 minutes at 375 degrees F, air fryer setting. Shake the basket several times during the cooking process.
Tips For Making Crispy Chickpeas
The best tip that I can give you for making crispy chickpeas is to dry them out before adding the oil and seasonings fully.
Otherwise, they will not get crispy. I usually leave my chickpeas drying on a kitchen towel, for about 20 minutes, before proceeding with this recipe.
How To Store Air Fryer Roasted Chickpeas
If you have any roasted chickpeas left over, place them into a brown paper bag or an open jar, both will help them stay crispy.
However, they will not stay crispy for long, so for best results eat them the same day that you make them.
