Air Fryer Lemon Poppy Seed Bread is the perfect way to get your morning going. Lemon Poppy Seed Bread is a quick bread, usually served with icing on top. It makes a great breakfast or dessert.
I usually go to Starbucks in the afternoon and grab a cup of coffee and a slice of their baked quick breads. But, today it was so cold out, I decided to turn to my “Easy-Bake Oven,” as my son charming calls my air fryer.
You only need a few ingredients for this recipe, probably most are in your pantry and a lot of poppy seeds.
Air Fryer Lemon Poppy Seed Bread
Ingredients:
- All-Purpose Flour
- Salt
- Baking Powder
- Poppy Seeds
- Lemon Juice
- Lemon Zest
- Vegetable Oil
- Eggs
- Milk
- Granulated Sugar
- Pure Vanilla Extract
Glaze:
- Powdered Sugar
- Lemon Juice
Simple Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, and poppy seeds. Set aside.
- In another mixing bowl, mix together the lemon juice, lemon zest, vegetable oil, eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- In your air fryer safe pan, spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Pour your batter into the pan (s)
- Set the temperature for 310 F, and the time for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes check and check for doneness. If it is not done, add another 5 minutes. Until it’s fully cooked, and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once fully cooked, remove the loaf pan, from the air fryer basket, let cool slightly.
- To make the glaze, mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice into a small bowl, and mix until well combined, pour over the lemon poppy seed bread.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
