  • Whole Milk: Provides the liquid base for both the vanilla and chocolate ice cream mixture.
  • Heavy Cream: Adds richness and a luxurious mouthfeel to the ice cream.
  • Brownies: Offers chewy, chocolatey chunks throughout the ice cream.

Ninja Creami Copycat Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked Recipe Notes

  • The Ninja Creami is designed to give the ice cream a soft serve texture, with that being said the ice cream may not look exactly like the Ben and Jerry’s from the store but it still tastes very similar.
  • If the base is crumbly, add 1-2 tablespoons of heavy cream until you reach your desired consistency.
  • If the ice cream is too soft, you can return it to the freezer for 1-2 hours to let it harden.
  • This recipe calls for some of the mix-ins to be stirred by hand.  If you aren’t looking for  chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie in your ice cream, feel free to add cookie dough bites and chunks of brownies to your ice cream and run the “Mix In” setting.

Ninja Creami Copycat Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked Recipe Faqs

How long does it take to make this ice cream using the Ninja Creami? The preparation typically takes about 10-15 minutes. However, you must freeze the mixture for at least 24 hours before processing it in the Ninja Creami. Once frozen, the process of turning it into ice cream takes about 5 minutes.

How should I store the leftover ice cream? Store any leftover ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer. To maintain the best texture, place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the ice cream before sealing the container. This will help prevent ice crystals from forming.

What if my ice cream comes out too hard or too soft? If your ice cream is too hard, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before serving. If it’s too soft, you can place it back in the freezer for a bit longer to firm up. Experimenting with the freezing times can help you achieve the perfect consistency.
