Easy Italian Pull-Apart Bread Recipe

If you love a simple pull-apart bread, you will love this! It’s also a great way to get the kids involved with cooking. My kids love this recipe!

Serve with my homemade marinara sauce, and once you realize that it’s stuffed with cheese! you will soon fall in love with this recipe!

With just a few simple ingredients, you can make this easy pull apart bread recipe, it’s amazing!

Italian Pull-Apart Bread

  • Instant Dry Yeast: Use fresh yeast.
  • Granulated Sugar: Starts the yeast.
  • Warm Milk: Make sure your milk is warmed, not hot.
  • All-Purpose Flour: The base of the dough.
  • Kosher Salt: For added flavor.
  • Olive Oil: For a moist bread.
  • Butter: You can use salted or unsalted. If you use salted butter, omit the salt.
  • Cheese: Use mozzarella cheese or Provolone cheese.
  • Italian Seasoning: Adds amazing flavor. You can also garnish with fresh parsley, right before serving.

How to Make Pull Apart Bread

Here are the simple steps for making boule pull apart bread:

Combine the flour, sugar, salt, milk, and yeast into the bowl. Turn the dough out onto a clean, floured countertop.  Knead with your hands until smooth and an elastic dough forms (about 5-6 minutes). Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest for 1 ½ hours or until it has doubled. Divide the dough in equal size (about the size of a medium spoon)

    Cut the cheese into cubes. Wrap each piece of dough around a piece of cheese. Combine the butter and Italian herb seasoning in a small bowl.

    Dip the dough balls in the melted butter and Arrange them in a prepared cast iron skillet. Brush any remaining butter over the top.

      Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Put the rolls in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool in the pan for 5 minutes. To loosen the pan, run a dull knife around the edges
