Description

Looking for an easy recipe that the entire family will love, try my recipe for Italian Pull-Apart Bread Rolls. Serve with some marinara sauce, this will be one of the best side dishes to serve at your next holiday or game day!

Ingredients 

  • 1 teaspoon instant dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2/3 cups warm milk
  • 1 to 1 ⅔ cups All-Purpose Flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 8 ounces cheese
  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Combine the flour, sugar, salt, milk, and yeast into the bowl. Turn the dough out onto a clean, floured countertop.
  • Knead with your hands until smooth and an elastic dough forms (about 5-6 minutes).
  • Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest for 1 ½ hours or until it has doubled. Divide the dough in equal size (about the size of a medium spoon)
  • Cut the cheese into cubes. Wrap each piece of dough around a piece of cheese.
  • Combine the butter and Italian herb seasoning in a small bowl.
  • Dip the dough balls in the melted butter and Arrange them in a prepared cast iron skillet. Brush any remaining butter over the top.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Put the rolls in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let it cool in the pan for 5 minutes. To loosen the pan, run a dull knife around the edges
