Now, I did not add any sauce, because my kids love to dip it in their own sauces, so I left it plain, but you can jazz it up by adding your favorite homemade marinade.
About Beef Stir Fry–
So, if you have never made stir fry before, you need a few things, to make an adequate stir fry:
- Protein: Anything from chicken, turkey, steak, tofu, salmon, etc.
- Vegetables: Every stir fry is usually marked by a LOT of Veggies, A LOT.
- Sauce: Your favorite sauce
Typically the stir fry is served over rice, but if you are doing KETO or low-carb, either use Cauliflower Rice or skip the rice.
I had a great portion of sirloin steak, some bell peppers that were on their way to going bad, and a couple of onions. Sirloin is a great steak choice because you can cut it thin, and it air fries very quickly, as do the peppers and onions.
Here Is How I Made My Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry
These are great if you want to make a lot of freezable stir-fries and then just toss them into the air fryer when you come home from work, or errands, or picking the kids up, or whatever, They make great meals.
The Ingredients–
Sirloin Steak: I like sirloin for stir-fries, because it really does well in the air fryer, and it doesn’t take a lot of time.
Vegetables: Today, I used a blend of bell pepper and onions.
Sauce: Add your favorite, at the end, I tossed my son’s with teriyaki sauce (his favorite)
Olive Oil and Spices: I used olive oil because it helps crisp the vegetables up in the air fryer.
The Steps-
- Start by cutting your sirloin steak into 1-inch strips. Then prepare the peppers and onions in the same way.
- Add your meat and vegetables to a large bowl, and mix in the olive oil and spices. Make sure that the vegetables and meat are coated, so they crisp up in the air fryer.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (air fryer setting) if you do not have a preheat function, simply turn the air fryer on for 5 minutes at 400 degrees F.
- Toss the meat and the vegetables into the air fryer basket, and air fry for about 5 minutes.
- Mix in with your favorite sauce.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
