When it comes to take out, stir fry is always a favorite in our house. With the Ninja Foodi, making it at home is a breeze and saves us so much money! We like to use pre-diced stew beef to cut down on our prep time, but you can cut up a flank steak as well.

This dish could not be easier to make! Just cook your beef and veggies, whisk together your sauce, and toss everything together. You can serve your stir fry over a bed of rice or noodles. You can also customize the heat level of your stir fry by adding some chili paste or red pepper flakes.

Easy Ninja Foodi Beef Stir Fry Recipe Tips

  • You can replace the olive oil with veggie or canola oil.
  • You can usually find pre-diced stew beef at your local grocery store. This is what we usually use for stir fry.
  • Serve your stir fry over a bed of white rice or some ramen noodles.
  • We like to use a bag of frozen stir fry veggies instead of cutting up a bunch of veggies. You can add your veggies straight from the freezer.
  • If you have fresh garlic then you can use 3 cloves of freshly minced garlic instead of garlic powder.

How to Store Your Leftover Stir Fry

This stir fry is great when it’s reheated! The sauce keeps the beef from drying out and becoming too tough and chewy. You can store your leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container.

You can reheat your stir fry in the microwave or on the stovetop. If you are reheating a single serving then you can throw it on a plate and microwave it for a minute. Stop the microwave halfway through and stir your leftovers to help them reheat evenly. You can reheat all of the leftovers in a pan over medium heat on the stovetop for about 10 minutes, or until hot.

Serving Suggestions

One of my favorite things about this stir fry is how versatile it is. With a hearty combination of beef and veggies, this stir fry can hold its own as an entree without anything else. If you are looking to elevate your dish a little bit then you can serve your stir fry over a bed of white rice, fried rice, or ramen noodles.

Easy Ninja Foodi Beef Stir Fry Recipe Faqs

What kind of veggies should I use for my stir fry? Feel free to use whatever veggies you have on hand! We like to grab a bag of frozen stir fry veggies so we don’t have to worry about cutting a bunch of veggies up and portioning out the right amounts of each one. Some of the most common veggies used in stir fry include sugar snap peas, cauliflower, broccoli, bell peppers, white onion, etc.

Why is my beef so tough? If your beef is tough and chewy then it has likely been cooked for too long. This is the main reason we cook our veggies and beef at the same time. The olive oil is going to help lock in the beef’s moisture, but cooking your veggies and beef at the same time will add another layer of protection against unnecessary moisture loss. If you want to cook your beef and veggies separately then make sure you remove the beef before cooking the veggies.

Can I freeze my stir fry? You sure can! Once you finish cooking your stir fry, let it cool down for about 30 minutes. It can be warm, but you don’t want it to be hot straight from the Ninja Foodi. Transfer your stir fry to a large ziploc bag and lay it flat in your freezer. You can freeze your stir fry for up to 2 months. When you’re ready to enjoy your stir fry, let it thaw overnight in the fridge and then reheat it on the stovetop over medium heat for about 10 minutes, or until warm.
