These Easy Air Fryer Copycat DoubleTree Cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with gooey chocolate chips and crunchy walnuts. They taste just like the famous hotel cookies—warm, buttery, and freshly baked straight from your air fryer!

Air fryer Doubletree Cookies are unique in flavor. The lemon adds a tasty and unique twist that leaves you wanting one more bite.
I love baking in the air fryer; nothing is easier. My kids joke and call it my easy-bake oven. But whatever you call your air fryer, you will never get better-baked goods—light, fluffy, and tender. Cookies come out unique in the air fryer.

Easy Air Fryer Copycat Doubletree Cookies Recipe Tips
- Chill the dough: Refrigerate the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes before air frying to help the cookies hold their shape and enhance the flavor.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket: Leave space between cookies in the air fryer so the air can circulate for even cooking.
- Use parchment paper: Place a small sheet of parchment paper in the basket to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Adjust cook time: Every air fryer is different—start checking around 7 minutes to avoid overbaking.
- Let them cool slightly: Allow cookies to rest for 5 minutes after air frying so they set perfectly soft and chewy inside.
Storing, Freezing & Reheating Instructions
- Storing: Keep your Air Fryer DoubleTree Cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. To maintain softness, place a slice of bread in the container to help retain moisture.
- Freezing: Freeze baked cookies in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 3 months. You can also freeze the unbaked cookie dough balls—just thaw them for 10–15 minutes before air frying.
- Reheating: Warm leftover cookies in the air fryer at 300°F for 2–3 minutes or in the microwave for 10–15 seconds to bring back that fresh-from-the-oven texture.
