There is nothing better for lunch than a sandwich filled with tomatoes, fresh basil, and melted mozzarella cheese, served with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.

If you have never had a Caprese Salad, which is where the inspiration for this sandwich comes from, its classical ingredients include, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil.

Today, I took the ingredients from the classical Caprese salad and placed them in between two slices of bread, drizzled with some balsamic vinegar, and air-fried it up.

It was a delicious sandwich; my kids really loved it.
