How To Make Air Fryer Turkey Turnovers
Layout the Dough Sheet on a gently floured surface. Use a biscuit cutter or a drinking glass and cut out circles, about 4 to 5 inches.
Over the biscuit, spread about one teaspoon of honey mustard over each circle. And then top with a couple of turkey pieces and a couple of teaspoons of broccoli or coleslaw.
Using a pastry brush, brush the edges with an egg white. Brush the top of the turnovers with egg white.
Set the turkey turnovers into a parchment or air fryer covered with a silicone liner. Set the temperature to 370 degrees F, air fryer setting, and cook for 5 to 8 minutes., flipping halfway.
Recipe Variations:
- If you do not have leftover Thanksgiving turkey, you can use deli-sliced turkey.
- I have also made this with chicken, you can either use leftover roasted chicken or even canned chicken.
- Instead of broccoli, you can use thawed, frozen vegetables, for a twist on classic chicken pot pie.
