🧀 Air Fryer Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Bread Recipe Tips
🥖 Use sturdy bread – French bread or hoagie rolls hold toppings best and get perfectly crisp.
🔥 Toast the bread first – A quick pre-toast helps prevent soggy bottoms.
🧅 Caramelize veggies for extra flavor – Cook onions, peppers, and mushrooms until soft and golden.
🧂 Season the steak well – A simple salt and pepper combo enhances the meat’s natural flavor.
🌪️ Don’t overload the air fryer – Cook in batches if needed to avoid soggy or uneven results.
Storing, Freezing & Reheating
- 🧊 Storing: Store leftover Philly cheesesteak cheesy bread in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. 🥖 Keep the bread and filling separate if possible to maintain crispiness.
- ❄️ Freezing: Freeze assembled but unbaked cheesy bread wrapped tightly in foil or plastic wrap for up to 2 months. 🧀 For best results, freeze without melting the cheese and add it just before air frying.
- 🔥 Reheating: Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 4–5 minutes until hot and the cheese is melted again. 🌪️ Avoid the microwave to keep the bread from getting soggy.
