Air Fryer Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Bread is an easy, flavorful dish loaded with shaved steak, sautéed veggies, and gooey provolone on crispy toasted bread.
Ingredients
1/2lbshaved steak
1tablespoonolive oil , or butter
1/2cupbell peppers, sliced. any color
1/2cuponions, sliced
1/4cupmushrooms, sliced, optional
1clovegarlic clove, minced (optional)
Salt & pepper, to taste
1loafFrench bread, or 2 hoagie rolls, sliced open
4slicesprovolone cheese
Instructions
Sauté Filling: In a skillet, heat oil or butter over medium heat. Add peppers, onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook 5–7 minutes until soft.
Add shaved steak to the skillet. Cook until browned, then season with salt and pepper.
Toast Bread: Place bread in air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes to crisp up slightly (optional).
Assemble: Top each bread half with steak and veggie mixture, then layer with provolone slices.
Air Fry: Return to air fryer and cook at 350°F for 4–6 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
