Description

Air Fryer Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Bread is an easy, flavorful dish loaded with shaved steak, sautéed veggies, and gooey provolone on crispy toasted bread.

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 lb shaved steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil , or butter
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced. any color
  • 1/2 cup onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms, sliced, optional
  • 1 clove garlic clove, minced (optional)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 loaf French bread, or 2 hoagie rolls, sliced open
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  • Sauté Filling: In a skillet, heat oil or butter over medium heat. Add peppers, onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook 5–7 minutes until soft.
  • Add shaved steak to the skillet. Cook until browned, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Toast Bread: Place bread in air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes to crisp up slightly (optional).
  • Assemble: Top each bread half with steak and veggie mixture, then layer with provolone slices.
  • Air Fry: Return to air fryer and cook at 350°F for 4–6 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve: Slice and enjoy hot!
