Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Sweet and Sour Shrimp
- Shrimp
- Honey
- Rice Vinegar
- Soy Sauce
- Tomato Paste
- Pineapple Juice
How To Make Air Fryer Sweet and Sour Shrimp
Mix the honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, tomato paste, and pineapple juice in a small bowl. Toss with the shrimp.
Then spread them out in the air fryer basket or air fryer tray. Set the temperature to 400 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 to 8 minutes. Once they are opaque, remove them.
What size shrimp do you use?
That would depend, on what you are using the shrimp for. I usually use larger shrimp for appetizers, but if you want to add them to a stir-fry or pasta dish, I would recommend using either small or medium.
The cooking time will not depend on how big the shrimp are.
What Kind Of Air Fryer Should You Use?
You can use any air fryer you want, I use so many different air fryers for my recipes, but the result is usually the same. I have used the Mealthy Crisp Lid, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, GoWise, and Instant Pot Vortex. The cooking time will vary within a few minutes.
But remember to shake the basket frequently during the cooking process. So all of your shrimp cooks up perfectly.

At the beginning, you mentioned that a great bottled version of the sweet and sour sauce was provided but I didn’t see that information. Did I miss it?

Thank you. I thought it was bottled sauce you bought in a store but this recipe sounds really good! I’ll try it.
