Make a Monster Cookie Ninja Creami ice cream that actually hits 32g of protein per serving. Peanut butter, M&M’s, and real cookie crunch — one overnight freeze and two spins.

Monster cookies are the ones with everything in them — peanut butter, M&M’s, chocolate chips, oats. This Monster Cookie Ninja Creami ice cream takes the flavor and rebuilds it as a two-ingredient frozen base with the good stuff folded in after the spin, which is the only way the M&M’s survive intact.
Two servings, 32 grams of protein each. That’s a real number from a real pint, not a pint divided into eight sad scoops to make the calorie count look better.
If you’re new to protein bases, my Ninja Creami Vanilla Protein Ice Cream is the one to master first — it’s the same milk-and-powder method with nothing to distract you. Once that’s dialed in, Ninja Creami Oreo Protein Ice Cream uses the same mix-in timing you’ll use here.

Monster Cookie vs. Cookie Monster (they’re different)
Worth clearing up, because people search for one and land on the other.
Monster cookie is the bakery cookie — peanut butter base, M&M’s, oats, chocolate chips. Beige and loud. That’s this recipe.
Cookie Monster is the bright blue vanilla-and-Oreo thing named after the Muppet. If that’s what you came for, I have a separate Easy Ninja Creami Cookie Monster Ice Cream with the blue base and the Oreos. Different recipe entirely.
Why This Monster Cookie Ninja Creami Works
- 32g protein per serving. Two scoops of protein powder in a 12-ounce base, split two ways.
- Two ingredients in the freeze. Milk and protein powder. Everything else goes on after.
- The mix-ins stay crunchy. M&M’s and cookies added post-spin don’t get pulverized into dust.
- No sweetener needed. Chocolate peanut butter powder plus M&M’s plus cookies is already plenty. Taste before you add anything.
Ingredients

- 2% Milk: The floor for a creamy protein base. Skim spins icy and no amount of re-spinning fixes it. Fairlife works well here and pushes the protein higher.
- Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Powder: Whey or a whey blend. See the note below on plant-based.
- Almond Milk: For the re-spin, not the base.
- M&M’s: Minis distribute better than regular.
- Chocolate Chip Cookies: A crisp cookie, not a soft-baked one. Chips Ahoy is the benchmark.
- Peanut Butter: For drizzling, warmed slightly so it moves.
How To Make Monster Cookie Ninja Creami Ice Cream

Step 1: Froth and freeze. Combine the milk and protein powder in a Ninja CREAMi pint and froth until completely smooth. Stay under the max fill line. Freeze flat for at least 24 hours. A tilted pint freezes with a sloped top, and a sloped top is what chips CREAMi blades.

Step 2: Spin, then re-spin. Run Lite Ice Cream. It will come out looking crumbly and wrong. This is normal and it is not broken. Add the almond milk and run Re-Spin. Now it’s ice cream.

Step 3: Split and top. Divide into two servings. Top each with M&M’s, crumbled cookies, and a drizzle of peanut butter.
Do not re-spin after the mix-ins go in. The blade turns cookies into sediment.

Tips
- Crumbly after the first spin is expected. Protein bases always come out that way. The re-spin is where it becomes ice cream. Add a splash more milk and re-spin twice if you need to.
- Run the pint under hot water for 30 seconds before spinning if the base is rock solid. It loosens the sides and takes strain off the motor.
- Plant-based powder needs more liquid. Pea and rice protein absorb more. Add an extra splash to the base and expect a second re-spin.
- Fairlife instead of 2% pushes you toward 40g of protein per serving with no texture penalty.
- Skip the sweetener at first. Between the powder, M&M’s, and cookies, most people find it’s already sweet enough. You can always add honey to the base next time.
Storing
Best straight out of the machine. If you’re storing it, keep the base in the pint in the freezer for up to a week and top it fresh. Mix-ins stored in the ice cream go soggy and lose the crunch that makes this a monster cookie.
To bring stored ice cream back: let the pint sit at room temperature for five minutes, level the top, and run Re-Spin with a splash of milk. It re-creams cleanly.

Monster Cookie Ninja Creami FAQs
How much protein is actually in it?
About 32g per serving at two servings per pint, using a standard whey powder plus the milk. Swap in Fairlife and you’re closer to 40g.
Why is my Ninja Creami protein ice cream crumbly?
Because it’s protein ice cream. Low fat means no soft freeze. The Lite Ice Cream cycle exposes it, and the re-spin with added milk fixes it. If two re-spins still leave it powdery, your base was too thin. Go up in milkfat.
Can I use a different protein powder?
Yes. Chocolate peanut butter is the closest match to a monster cookie, but vanilla or plain chocolate both work. Match the serving size, not the scoop count. Scoops vary wildly between brands.
Can I make this dairy-free?
Yes, with a caveat. Use a plant-based powder and full-fat oat or coconut milk, not almond milk in the base, which is too thin and freezes icy. Then use M&M substitutes and a dairy-free cookie.
Why does the recipe say 24 hours if my machine’s manual says 12?
Because a partially frozen base spins into soup and can’t be recovered. 24 hours flat is the reliable number. If you’re at 12 and impatient, wait.
Can I double it?
Not in a standard pint. You’ll cross the max fill line and the expansion has nowhere to go. Use two pints, or a Deluxe pint at 1.5x.
What else can I put on top?
Crushed pretzels for salt, chopped peanuts, mini chocolate chips, or a second cookie. Anything crunchy added after the spin.
