How Does An Air Fryer Work?
Once, you learn how your air fryer works, you will find all sorts of new uses for it, from grilling, to roasting, to frying, and even to baking.
An air fryer works in pretty much the same way as a convection oven does, the only difference is that it is much smaller and the air fryer circulates air around the food, to cook the food. One of the best things about using an air fryer is that you use hardly any oil, but you still get that deep oil taste (minus the grease).
One of the best advice that I can give you is to read the air fryer manual that came with your air fryer since all models are a bit different.
Different Types of Air Fryers
There are two main categories of air fryers, they are:
Here in the basket model, the basket is removable and becomes a chamber to put your food into. Some foods are more difficult to make in the basket model, i.e., pancakes, and cookies.
b. Oven Style
This type of model has become one of my favorites since I have moved into cookies, pancakes and my kids are big eaters. I recently upgraded to an Omni Plus, which has the capacity to feed my entire family in one sitting. It makes enough (5-6 hamburgers and of course other foods) so I only have to do one run at dinner/lunch/breakfast.
