These Easy Air Fryer Baked Chocolate Donuts are really a sweet and easy homemade family treat. My kids absolutely loved them. They reminded my son, Jason of Dunkin Donuts Chocolate Donuts (his favorite).

Air Fryer Chocolate Donuts are so much easier and tastier than biscuit donuts, and you really can make these in less than 30 minutes from start to finish. They come out really moist, and I put a sugar icing coating that really works with the donuts: a true easy Monday morning breakfast or a tasty dessert.

They can be frosted or glazed with chocolate frosting, or they can have chocolate sprinkles on them. Whatever the case may be, there’s nothing quite like a delicious chocolate donut!

Spray your pan with olive oil spray. In a large mixing bowl mix beat the sugar, milk, melted butter, vegetable oil, salt, egg, and vanilla extract. In another mixing bowl mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.

Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, be careful to scrape the sides of the bowl, to get all of the ingredients. Mix well. Tips For Cooking Homemade From Scratch Chocolate Donuts In Air Fryer

  1. Use an excellent cocoa powder. Since you are using such a few ingredients, you should choose a gr, eat one to give you the deep chocolate flavor.
  2. I replace the traditional vegetable oil recipe with melted butter because I really feel that it gives more flavor and brings out the chocolate flavor.
  3. The glaze is sweet, but still easy to use, with just a few ingredients. But, it really brings out the flavor of the donut.
