This makes for an amazing lunch for the entire family; no one can resist an Air Fryer Hawaiian Pizza Flat Bread.

There is nothing better than homemade pizza that you can make in mere minutes. Today, I added some Marinara Sauce, mozzarella cheese, pineapple chunks, and diced ham and added all of the ingredients on top of a piece of Naan Bread. Easy and absolutely delicious.

As most of you know, I have two teenage boys, which means they are always eating, and I mean always eating. We actually made this at eleven o’clock when my oldest son came down looking for a second dinner. No, you didn’t read that wrong.

So, while I did not want to make a homemade pizza, although amazing, it would take too long, and if you ever wanted a late-night snack, you know you don’t want to wait around, so this is a perfect solution.

What Toppings Are On A Hawaiian Pizza

Pizza is one of those food items that can be customized in so many ways, that it’s hard to ever get bored with it. This variation, called Hawaiian pizza, swaps out the traditional tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese for a thick and tangy pineapple sauce and salty ham. If you’re looking for something new to try in your pizza-making adventures, give this recipe a shot!

Where Was Hawaiian Pizza Made

Hawaiian pizza was first made in Canada. Sam Panopoulos, a Greek immigrant, is credited with inventing the popular dish in 1962. Panopoulos was working as a pizza cook in an Ontario restaurant when he decided to experiment with new toppings. He added pineapple and ham to a standard cheese pizza and found that the combination was surprisingly good. The dish quickly became a favorite at the restaurant, and Panopoulos eventually patented his invention. Today, Hawaiian pizza is enjoyed all over the world, with many different variations on the original recipe. Whether you prefer your Hawaiian pizza with extra cheese or extra pineapple, there’s no doubt that this invention is here to stay.
