Air Fryer Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe Pro Tips
- For best results, use a metal muffin tin, where I find the batter does not blow as much as the silicone muffin cups.
- Measure your flour correctly. Otherwise, it will cause dense muffins.
- Use ripe bananas.
- Depending on your air fryer, the cooking time will vary by a few minutes.
- The muffin tin size will be dependent on what air fryer you own.
Air Fryer Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe Faqs
Can I use frozen bananas? Yes, thaw the bananas completely and drain any excess liquid before mashing and using them in the recipe.
How long do these muffins stay fresh? These muffins stay fresh for about 2-3 days when stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
Can I substitute the chocolate chips with another ingredient? Absolutely! You can substitute chocolate chips with nuts, dried fruit, or even white chocolate chips for a different twist.
Can I make these muffins gluten-free? Yes, you can use a gluten-free flour blend in place of regular flour to make these muffins gluten-free.
What type of liners should I use? Use silicone or parchment paper liners to prevent the muffins from sticking to the air fryer basket and for easier cleanup.
Can I use a different type of sugar? Yes, you can substitute white sugar with brown sugar, coconut sugar, or a sugar substitute like Stevia or erythritol.
How do I know when the muffins are done? Insert a toothpick into the center of a muffin. If it comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs, the muffins are done.
Can I double the recipe? Yes, you can double the recipe, but you may need to bake the muffins in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
