If you love Olive Garden shrimp alfredo, you’re going to love this air fryer copycat recipe! It’s easy to make and perfect for a quick and delicious dinner. You’ll need just a few simple ingredients!

- Shrimp: Use medium or large shrimp for this recipe. I purchase peeled and deveined shrimp, to make this a quick meal!
- Olive Oil: You can also use avocado oil, grapeseed oil, or coconut oil. Any high-heat oil will work here.
- Butter: Use unsalted butter, or adjust the spices.
- Heavy Whipping Cream: This is the basis for the homemade alfredo sauce.
- Garlic: Use freshly minced garlic, for the best flavor!
- Grated Parmesan Cheese: Use freshly grated parmesan cheese, for the best Alfredo Sauce!
- Seasonings/Spices: Italian Seasoning, Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder
How To Cook Olive Garden Shrimp Alfredo In The Air Fryer

While you are preparing the shrimp, cook the pasta as directed on the package. In a large mixing bowl, add your shrimp, olive oil, Italian Seasoning, salt, and black pepper, and toss well to coat.

Place the shrimp into the air fryer basket, set the temperature to 390 degrees F, using the air fryer setting, and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway.

To make the alfredo sauce: add the butter and cream to the saucepan, and mix until the butter has melted. Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian Seasoning, salt, and black pepper, and continue to shimmer, until the sauce starts to thicken. Then stir in the parmesan cheese, and mix well.
Toss the pasta with the alfredo sauce, and then add your shrimp. Toss well, and then serve!

Pro Tips For The Best Copycat Olive Garden Shrimp Alfredo Recipe
- Fresh Cheese: For the best alfredo sauce, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I would highly recommend grating your own cheese, as it will melt better, most pre-packaged cheese has been coated with wood pulp. As a result, it doesn’t melt as well as fresh cheese.
- Shrimp Cooking Time: Since every air fryer is slightly different, I would recommend that you check on your shrimp frequently during the cooking time, when it’s translucent, you can safely remove the shrimp.
- Crowding: For best results with making the shrimp, I would not recommend crowding the air fryer basket, instead, space your shrimp in the air fryer basket. This way the hot air can freely circulate around the shrimp, cooking it up to perfection!
- Parchment Paper: I used parchment paper, but you could also spray the air fryer basket with a cooking spray, or use a reusable air fryer silicone liner.
What To Serve With Shrimp Alfredo
Are you looking for the perfect dish to serve with your shrimp Alfredo? Look no further!
Some of my favorites to pair this classic Italian dish. From simple side dishes like air-fried broccoli or air fryer garlic bread to more elaborate options like a Mixed Greens Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette! The air fryer can create your perfect main dish and a great side!
When To Know When Shrimp Is Fully Cooked
The trick is that once the shrimp turns highly opaque, and a bit white, they’re fully cooked. You can also use a meat thermometer, and when the shrimp’s internal temperature reaches 120 degrees F, you can safely remove the shrimp!
