Air Fryer Copycat Starbucks Banana Bread, all I have to say is wow! It’s amazing in the air fryer!

If you know me in real life, you know that I love a great slice of quick bread in the morning. And with the air fryer, it takes about 40 minutes to air fry up (the exact time is going to depend on your air fryer). This Copycat version of Starbucks is loaded with bananas and walnuts. It also happens to be one of my absolute favorites, and it comes out amazing in the air fryer.

Do you love Starbucks Banana Bread? Then you will absolutely love this recipe. My kids are huge fans of Starbucks, and I am loving air frying some of their creations.

Pour the prepared batter into a prepared air fryer-safe pan that has been coated with non-stick cooking spray. Set the temperature for 310 F and the time for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, check and check for doneness. If it is not done, add another 5 minutes. Until it’s fully cooked and a toothpick comes out clean.

Some Common Questions About Baking In the Air Fryer & Air Frying Banana Bread-

Can I add other ingredients to this recipe?

Although this is a copycat recipe, I stuck with the original recipe of only adding bananas and walnuts.

There are so many other ways to jazz up your banana bread. Some of the most common mix-ins are chocolate chips, raisins, apricots, dried plums, pistachios, pecans, and macadamia nuts.

How To Mash Bananas

The real key to making great banana bread is to really mash the bananas. If you have never mashed bananas before, the real trick is to break them up and then place them in the mixer.

If you are making this banana bread without a mixer, use a fork and mash them before adding them to the batter.

What air fryer do you use?

I have a wide variety of air fryers, and the most common questions are about the Instant Pot Crisp Lid, Mealthy, and Power XL. This recipe will work for all three of them.

Air fryer recipes will work with any air fryer. Just remember to use the air fryer setting.

How To Store Air Fryer Banana Bread

If you have any banana bread leftover, cool to room temperature, and then place it into an airtight container.

I usually leave it on my counter, as it is usually gone within a day or two. If you want to make it last any longer, I suggest that you place it into the airtight container and then place it into the refrigerator.

How To Freeze Air Fryer Banana Bread

If you want to make an extra loaf, use up the ripe bananas, or make ahead, this freezes very well.

To freeze, let it cool to room temperature, and then wrap the loaf tightly with saran wrap or foil.  I usually wrap it a few times to prevent freezer burn. Then place the wrapped banana bread into a freezer container or bag.

The frozen banana bread will last between 2 and 3 months.

What Pans Do You Recommend For Baking Quick Breads in the Air Fryer?

I really want to stress that you really need to invest in a mini loaf pan set to have success every time you bake in the air fryer.

An air fryer works by the air circulating the food, causing it to cook up. If the banana bread is too thick, the center will never get cooked.

Here are some pans that I recommend for the best Air Fryer Banana Bread:

I was also wondering what size pan you use? I love your site.

The pan is really dependent on what air fryer you own. My real suggestion is to use mini loaf pans since they will work much better in the air fryer.

Can you bake more than one pan at a time?

    Reply
    • Laurie says

That would depend on your air fryer, you need to make sure that there is space around the pan, otherwise, it will never get cooked. Remember it’s an air fryer which means that hot air circulates around the pan to heat the food up.

What is the actual size of the mixture (e.g. in cups or pounds or whatever) so that I can figure out exactly what size pan(s) to use? Many thanks for what sounds like a delicious recipe!

WOW. I have made banana bread for years but never I. My air fryer. I used multiple small cute shaped silicone baking pans. I originally bought them to make donuts in the air fryer. Anyway this bread came out fabulous. I had to do two baking sessions but so worth it.

It has to be oven safe. So, either a glass (The is oven safe) loaf pan or a metal loaf pan. I would recommend that you use mini loaf pan, so the entire bread cooks.
