Some Common Questions About Baking In the Air Fryer & Air Frying Banana Bread-
Can I add other ingredients to this recipe?
Yes, although since this is a copycat recipe, I stuck with the original recipe of only adding bananas and walnuts.
There are so many other ways to jazz up your banana bread, some of the most common mix-ins are chocolate chips, raisins, apricots, dried plums, pistachios, pecans, and macadamia nuts.
How To Mash Bananas
The real key to making a great banana bread is to really mash the bananas. If you have never mashed bananas before the real trick to it, is to break them up, and then place them in the mixer.
If you are making this banana bread without a mixer, then use a fork and mash them, before adding them to the batter.
What air fryer do you use?
I have a wide variety of air fryers, and the most common questions are about the Instant Pot Crisp Lid, Mealthy, and Power XL. This recipe will work for all three of them.
Air fryer recipes will work with any air fryer, just remember to use the air fryer setting.
How To Store Air Fryer Banana Bread
If you have any banana bread leftover, cool to room temperature, and then place it into an airtight container.
I usually leave it on my counter, as it is usually gone within a day or two. If you want to make it last any longer, I would suggest that you place it into the airtight container and then place it into the refrigerator.
How To Freeze Air Fryer Banana Bread
If you want to make an extra loaf, to use up the ripe bananas, or just to make ahead, this freezes very well.
To freeze, let it cool to room temperature, and then wrap the loaf tightly with saran wrap or foil. I usually wrap it a few times, to prevent freezer burn. Then place the wrapped banana bread into a freezer container or bag.
The frozen banana bread will last between 2 and 3 months.
What Pans Do You Recommend For Baking Quick Breads in the Air Fryer?
I really want to stress that you really need to invest in a mini loaf pan set, in order to have success every single time that you bake in the air fryer.
An air fryer works by the air circulating around the food, causing it to cook up. If the banana bread is too thick, the center will never get cooked.

What size pan did you use for the bread?
Thank you.
Sound good to me. Would love a book with them in.
I was also wondering what size pan you use? I love your site.
The pan is really dependent on what air fryer you own. My real suggestion is to use mini loaf pans since they will work much better in the air fryer.
Can you bake more than one pan at a time?
That would depend on your air fryer, you need to make sure that there is space around the pan, otherwise, it will never get cooked. Remember it’s an air fryer which means that hot air circulates around the pan to heat the food up.
