- Effortless Entertaining: This dish serves as an impressive centerpiece that’s as fun to make as it is to eat, making it perfect for entertaining.
- Minimal Cleanup: One of the best parts of using an air fryer is the minimal cleanup required.

Ingredients Needed
- Round Loaf of Sourdough or Artisan Bread: The dense texture and robust flavor of sourdough or artisan bread make it ideal for holding the filling and maintaining its structure when pulled apart.
- Butter: Adding a rich, savory flavor and contributing to the golden, crispy crust when air-fried.
- Raspberry Jam: Its bright and slightly tart flavor contrasts perfectly with the richness of the brie, adding a delightful sweetness that permeates the bread.
- Brown Sugar: Adds sweetness to the appetizer.
- Brie Cheese: The creamy and mildly nutty flavor melts beautifully, creating a luxurious texture that pairs wonderfully with the sweetness of the jam.
- Walnuts: Optional added some crunch to the appetizer.
How To Make Air Fryer Raspberry and Brie Pull-Apart Bread
Step One: Begin by hollowing out the inside of your loaf to form a bowl-like hole. Leave room at the corners. Chop and place your brie in the hole.
Step Two: Cover the brie with jam and walnuts. Slice around the parameter of the bread, being careful not to slide down.
Step Three: Add the brown sugar and butter into a bowl—microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Pour the brown sugar and butter mixture into the slices and over the bread. Air fry the bread for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, or until the brie has melted.
Recipe Variations
- Different Jams and Preserves: Swap raspberry jam for fig, apricot, or blackberry preserves to explore different fruit flavors.
- Add Nuts: Adding chopped pecans, walnuts, or almonds into the cuts along with the brie and jam.
- Herb and Spice Infusions: Add herbs and spices by adding rosemary, thyme, or a sprinkle of cinnamon mixed with the melted butter.
- Cheese Variations: While brie is classic, experimenting with different cheeses like Camembert, goat cheese, or even a mix of mozzarella and Gorgonzola can offer new taste profiles.
- Savory Twists: For a less sweet version, omit the jam and fill the bread with caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes alongside the brie.
- Sweet and Savory: Combine sweet and savory elements by adding crispy bacon or prosciutto pieces into the bread and raspberry jam and brie.
- Glazed Topping: Before air frying, brush the top of the bread with a mixture of honey and balsamic vinegar.
- Spicy Kicks: Add a spicy element by mixing a little sriracha or chili flakes into the raspberry jam before adding it to the bread.
Air Fryer Raspberry and Brie Pull-Apart Bread Recipe Tips
- Choosing the Right Bread: Use sturdy loaf like sourdough or a dense artisan bread that can hold up to the weight of the cheese and jam without collapsing.
- Even Distribution of Ingredients: When adding the brie and raspberry jam, distribute them evenly throughout the bread.
- Control the Moisture: To prevent the bread from becoming soggy from the jam, consider slightly reducing the jam’s amount or using a thicker preserve.
- Use Parchment Paper for Easy Removal: Placing a round of parchment paper beneath the bread in the air fryer can make it easier to remove once it’s done, especially if the cheese has melted and oozed out.
- Don’t Overcrowd: Make sure the bread has enough space in the air fryer for the hot air to circulate properly.
- Checking for Doneness: Air fryer models can vary greatly in how they cook.
- Let It Stand: Allowing the bread to stand for a few minutes after cooking can help the cheese set slightly, making it easier to pull apart without all the brie and jam spilling.
- Serving Immediately: This dish is best enjoyed warm, straight from the air fryer, when the cheese is still gooey and the bread is perfectly crispy.
- Experiment with Toppings: Before serving, add fresh toppings like thyme, basil, or a drizzle of honey for extra flavor and a visually appealing finish.
Air Fryer Raspberry and Brie Pull-Apart Bread Recipe Faqs
Can I use any bread for this recipe? While you can use various types of bread, dense loaves like sourdough or artisan bread work best because they hold up well against the weight and moisture of the brie and jam, maintaining their structure after baking.
Can I substitute the raspberry jam with another flavor? Absolutely! Feel free to use any jam or preserve you prefer. Fig, apricot, and blackberry are all excellent choices that pair wonderfully with brie.
How do I prevent the bread from becoming soggy? To avoid sogginess, ensure the jam is not overly liquidy, and consider using a thicker, more concentrated preserve.
What if my air fryer is too small to fit the whole loaf? If the loaf doesn’t work, you can cut the bread into smaller sections that fit your air fryer basket.
Can I make this recipe ahead of time? It’s best enjoyed fresh, but you can prepare the loaf with the brie and jam, then refrigerate it until you cook. Remember that the bread may need a slightly longer cooking time from chilled.
Is there a vegan option for this recipe? Yes, you can use vegan cheese alternatives that melt well and a plant-based butter substitute for brushing.
Can I add nuts or other ingredients to the recipe? Definitely! Chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans can add a lovely crunch.
How do I serve and eat this dish? Serve it warm directly after cooking.
How do I store leftovers? Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven for the best texture upon serving again.
Can I use frozen brie? It’s best to use brie at refrigerated temperature for even melting.
