One of my favorite meals and a childhood favorite is Homemade Italian Air Fryer Sausage Hoagie Sub. Made with air-fried Italian sausage, smothered with gravy (sauce), and topped with pepper-jack cheese. All served up to you in a great big old hoagie roll.
These Italian sausages make for a really quick dinner or lunch, and they are a perfect make-ahead meal. You can easily air fry up the sausages in the morning and then come back later that night and prepare the sandwiches/subs.
What really makes this meal is a combination of the toasted hoagie roll, melted cheese, and of course, the Italian sausages swimming in the homemade gravy (sauce). This will be sure to be one of your favorite meals that you make with the air fryer. Easy and absolutely delicious.
