Drizzle the color of your choice onto the light bulb part of brownies. Using a different color, drizzle onto the bottom half of the light to give the appearance of a Christmas light bulb.

Pro Tips

Here are some pro tips to help you create perfect Christmas Light Brownies:

  • Use a Non-Stick Pan: Opt for a non-stick baking pan or line your pan with parchment paper to ensure that the brownies release easily after baking. This will make it easier to decorate them without any sticking.
  • Chill the Brownies Before Decorating: For cleaner and more precise decoration, consider chilling the baked brownies in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before adding the M&M’s or frosting. This will firm up the surface, making it easier to work with.
  • Choose the Right Size M&M’s: Select M&M’s or other small candies that are appropriate for decorating your brownies—Mini M&M’s work well for creating intricate designs, while regular-sized ones are perfect for larger decorations.
  • Use Gel or Liquid Food Coloring for Frosting: If you’re using frosting to decorate your brownies, opt for gel or liquid food coloring rather than powdered food coloring. This will give you vibrant colors without altering the consistency of the frosting.
  • Practice Decorating Techniques: Before decorating the brownies, practice piping or arranging techniques on a piece of parchment paper or a plate. This will help you perfect your designs and ensure you’re happy with the result.
  • Let the Decorations Set: Allow the M&M’s or frosting decorations to set completely before slicing and serving the brownies. This will prevent them from smudging and ensuring they stay in place.

With these pro tips, you’ll be well-equipped to create beautifully decorated Christmas Light Brownies that are sure to impress your family and friends during the holiday season!
