Air Fryer Blueberry Pinwheels

I love experimenting in the air fryer with puff pastry. Today, I made these Air Fryer Blueberry Pinwheels for my son, and they could not be any easier.

Before my air fryer, I used to avoid puff pastry. I mean, it looks complicated, but once I made my puff pastry donuts, I was hooked, and I kept on looking for more cooking projects.

You need very few ingredients, and you probably have most of them already at your house. The only thing you probably need to pick up is a package of puff pastry, and you can create a tasty breakfast for your entire family! And boy, are they fun to make.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I Change Out the Blueberry Jam?

You can change the jam to whatever flavor is your favorite, and the recipe will work the same.

Where Do I Find Puff Pastry In The Grocery Store?

It is in the grocery store’s freezer section, usually next to pie crusts.

How Do I Defrost Puff Pastry?

You can either leave it on the counter for about 30 minutes. Or, if you know you are going to be using it the next day, place it from the freezer into the refrigerator.

Can I Use Homemade Puff Pastry?

It works the same.

The Bottom of My Pastry Did Not Cook

This is a common problem, unfortunately. The bottom usually cooks last because the heat source for most air fryers is on top. If you find that the bottom is not browning. Use a spatula, flip the pastry (like you are flipping a burger), and let the heat source hit the bottom. But only for a couple of minutes.

It is a hard problem since all air fryers are slightly different. Air Fryer ovens cook differently from the air fryer basket. It is just like an oven. Eventually, it will cook. You need to be patient and give a couple of extra minutes.
