How to Make Instant Pot Boxed Mac N Cheese
Description
Ingredients
- 1 box Mac & Cheese, any type
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup milk
After Cooking:
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 package cheese packet, the one that comes with it
Instructions
- Pour the macaroni, 1 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of milk into the Instant Pot.
- Set the lid on, making sure it’s in a sealed position. And set the timer for 4 minutes at manual high pressure.
- Now probably one of the most important steps in making this. When the time is up, you must release the pressure of the Instant Pot, otherwise, you will end up with sticky and gluey pasta.
- Mix in the butter, and milk, and of course the cheese packet. Mix well.
- Continue to mix, until all of the cheese packet is absorbed by the liquid.
- Plate, serve and enjoy!
