Air Fryer Snickers Egg Rolls take two ingredients and about 15 minutes. You wrap a Snickers bar in an egg roll wrapper, give it a light spray of oil, and air fry it until the shell is golden and shatter-crisp. Inside, the chocolate, caramel, and peanuts melt together. It tastes like a state fair fried candy bar without a pot of hot oil, and it’s one of the easiest ways I know to use up leftover Halloween candy.

Egg roll wrappers and fun-size Snickers bars, the ingredients for Snickers egg rolls
  • Egg roll wrappers: look for them in the refrigerated produce section, usually near the tofu. Use egg roll wrappers rather than wonton wrappers, which are too small to wrap a bar.
  • Snickers bars: fun-size bars give you a crispier roll with more shell in every bite. Full-size bars give you a bigger, gooier center.
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray: don’t skip it. Without oil, egg roll wrappers bake up pale and dry instead of golden and crisp.
  • Optional toppings: powdered sugar, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

How to Make Snickers Egg Rolls in the Air Fryer

Unwrapped fun-size Snickers bars on a parchment-lined tray, ready to freeze

Step 1: Freeze the unwrapped Snickers bars for 20–30 minutes. Cold candy holds its shape longer, so the wrapper crisps before the center melts through.

Step 2: Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface like a diamond, with one corner pointing toward you. Place a Snickers bar horizontally just above the bottom corner.

Step 3: Fold the bottom corner up over the bar. Fold in the left and right sides, then roll it up tightly.

Step 4: Brush the top corner with a little water and press it closed. Dab water over any gaps at the ends. A tight seal keeps the caramel from leaking.

Step 5: Lightly spray the air fryer basket, or line it with parchment paper. Place the egg rolls seam side down without touching, then lightly spray the tops with oil.

Step 6: Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown all over. Start checking at 7 minutes, since air fryers vary.

Step 7: Let the egg rolls cool for 2–3 minutes, because the caramel inside is very hot. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Tips for Crispy, Leak-Free Snickers Egg Rolls

  • Roll tightly. Air pockets let melted caramel find its way out.
  • Use water, not too much. A light brush seals the wrapper. A soaking makes it gummy.
  • Don’t crowd the basket. Hot air has to reach every side for even browning, so cook in batches if needed.
  • A little leaking is fine. If a bit of chocolate escapes, it wipes out of the basket easily once it cools. Parchment makes cleanup even easier.
  • Prefer a flaky pastry shell? Try my Air Fryer Snickers, where the bars are wrapped in crescent or biscuit dough instead.

Swap in Other Candy Bars

This method works with almost any chocolate candy bar of a similar size. Twix, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups all melt beautifully. If Twix is your favorite, my Air Fryer Twix Bars wrap the cookie bars in dough for a softer, bakery-style bite. For another quick way to use up a candy stash, try Air Fryer Candy S’mores.

What to Serve with Snickers Egg Rolls

Serve them warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or with caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, or peanut butter sauce for dipping. A plate of these next to fruit-filled Air Fryer Blueberry Cheesecake Egg Rolls makes a fun dessert spread for parties and game day.

Storing and Reheating

  • Store: keep cooled leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat: air fry at 350°F for 2–3 minutes to bring back the crunch. The microwave will make the wrapper soft and chewy.
  • Make ahead: assemble the rolls and refrigerate them, covered, for a few hours, then spray and air fry right before serving.
  • Freeze: freeze uncooked rolls on a tray until firm, then move them to a freezer bag for up to 1 month. Air fry straight from frozen, adding 2–3 minutes.

Snickers Egg Rolls FAQs

Is there egg in Snickers? Yes. Snickers bars list egg whites in their ingredients, and most egg roll wrappers are made with egg too. If you’re cooking for someone with an egg allergy, check the labels on both before making these.

Why did my Snickers egg rolls leak? Usually the bar wasn’t cold enough, the roll was too loose, or the seam wasn’t sealed. Freeze the candy first, roll tightly, and seal every edge with a dab of water.

Can I use full-size Snickers bars? Yes. A standard egg roll wrapper fits one full-size bar. Expect a gooier center, and add a minute or two to the cook time if needed.

Can I make Snickers egg rolls in the oven? Yes. Bake them on a parchment-lined sheet at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.

Why aren’t my egg rolls crispy? Most likely they needed more oil or more time. A light, even spray on every side is the key to a golden, blistered shell.

Can I use wonton wrappers? They’re too small for a whole bar. Cut fun-size bars in half and you can make bite-size Snickers wontons, but watch them closely, because they brown in about 5–6 minutes.
