Faq’s Air Fried Kielbasa and Potatoes

Can I use a different type of sausage? Yes, you can use any type of sausage you prefer, such as Italian sausage, bratwurst, or chicken sausage. Just ensure it’s sliced into even pieces for uniform cooking.

Do I need to peel the potatoes? It’s up to you. Leaving the skins on adds extra texture and nutrients, but you can peel them if you prefer a smoother texture.

Can I use sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes? Absolutely! Sweet potatoes will add a slightly different flavor and sweetness to the dish. The cooking time may vary slightly, so keep an eye on them.

How do I prevent the potatoes from sticking to the air fryer basket? Make sure to toss the potatoes in olive oil before air frying. You can also lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray.

Can I add other vegetables to the mix? Yes, you can add a variety of vegetables such as zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, or broccoli. Just make sure to cut them into similar sizes to ensure even cooking.

How do I store and reheat leftovers? Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes until heated through and crispy.

Can I make this dish ahead of time? You can prep the ingredients ahead of time by slicing the kielbasa and dicing the vegetables. Store them separately in the refrigerator until you’re ready to cook.

How can I make the potatoes extra crispy? For extra crispy potatoes, make sure they are evenly coated in oil and spread them out in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Shake the basket a few times during cooking to promote even crisping.

What should I serve with air fried kielbasa and potatoes? A great way to round out the meal is with some fresh vegetables like air fryer green beans or air fried Brussels sprouts. Additionally, a side salad with a light vinaigrette dressing is always a welcome accompaniment to this type of dish. For a heartier meal, consider adding some crusty bread with butter and cheese or some roasted vegetables like red pepper, carrots, and onions. You can also serve it with a bowl of vegetables or white rice.
