- Cornstarch and Baking Powder: Helps crisp up the chicken

- Egg: Creates the batter
- Butter: Creates the buffalo sauce to coat the tenders in.
- Buffalo Sauce: Provides the flavor for the buffalo sauce.
- White Vinegar: Adds some tang to the buffalo sauce.
- Seasonings: Adobo, Garlic Power, Black Pepper, Onion Powder, Oregano, Paprika, and Cayenne Pepper
How To Cook Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Tenders
Whisk all dry ingredients together in one bowl. Whisk egg, buttermilk, 1/2 tsp pepper, and 1/2 tsp garlic in a separate bowl. Set up drying station (wire rack) Coat chicken in buttermilk mixture. Then dredge in flour. Repeat.
Let chicken rest on a wire rack for 10 mins. (Helps coating adhere to chicken and not fall off while air frying. Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the chicken into the air fryer and set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting. Air Fry for 5 to 7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
How To Make Buffalo Sauce:
Melt butter and stir in Buffalo sauce and vinegar until combined. Toss the cooked chicken into the sauce.

While we used regular hot sauce, you can also use any store-brand of homemade buffalo sauce. The most common sauce is Frank’s, but you can also use Crystals, Trader Joe’s, Aldi’s, Costco, or any store brand.
If you want the sauce extra spicy you can a couple of dashes of hot sauce into the batter.
HOW TO STORE:
Let the buffalo chicken tenders cool to room temperature and then place them into an airtight container or Ziploc Bag. They will last for about 1 to 2 days in the refrigerator.
HOW TO FREEZE:
You can also freeze this recipe if you have any leftovers, or you can even make a double or triple batch, to store in the freezer.
Be sure to make sure that is cooled to room temperature. Then place them in a freezer bag and pop them into your freezer where they will keep for up to about 1 month.
HOW TO REHEAT:
If you want to rehat your buffalo chicken tenders, place them into the air fryer basket, set the temperature to 350 degrees F, and air fry for 5 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway. Remove them when they are warmed through.
