Recipe tips:
Rice: This recipe uses white rice, but you can use brown rice or a combination of both for a heartier pudding. Note, for using brown rice, you will need a longer cooking time than for white rice.
Seasonings: You can also add any flavor you like – cinnamon, vanilla extract, raisins, etc. – to customize the dish to your taste.
Add-Ins: Some great add-ins would be diced pecans, walnuts or raisins. Simply mix them in at the end, right before serving.
Instant Pot: This recipe will also work in the Ninja Foodi, or any pressure cooking. The cooking time will remain the same.
