One of the most common rice dishes, Instant Pot Jasmine Rice. This is my foolproof method that will give you perfect rice every time. This is one of my go-to side dishes.
I love Instant Pot Jasmine Rice. I think it’s a perfect side dish for any meal. Today, I made a simple salmon dinner and served it as a side dish. I am a huge fan of rice dishes in the Instant Pot.
How To Make Jasmine Rice In The Instant Pot–
I love making rice in the Instant Pot; basically, you have to add the rice, and water and then set it, and the best part about it, is that you can walk away.
One of the secrets to making a perfect rice dish in the Instant Pot is to rinse the rice. The reason that you rinse rice is to remove the surface starch from the rice. Removing the starch will give you perfect rice; otherwise, your rice will become gummy. So, just run it through the strainer, and rinse with cold water.
Now, I mentioned before that you only need rice and water. I actually add olive oil and salt. The reason is that I found that if you add olive oil during pressure cooking, you actually get less sticky rice. The salt is just done for some extra flavor; if you are on a sodium-restricted diet, omit.
