How To Make An Air Fryer Appetizer Charcuterie Board

  • Choose Your Air Fryer Snacks: Select a few crispy bites like fried olives, mini mozzarella sticks, or air-fried nuts. Cook them in the air fryer until golden and crisp.
  • Select Meats: Add an assortment of cured meats such as salami, prosciutto, or soppressata, folding or rolling them for a polished look.
  • Pick Your Cheeses: Include a mix of textures—soft cheeses like burrata or mozzarella, firmer cheeses like provolone or Parmigiano-Reggiano, and slices or cubes for easy snacking.
  • Add Olives and Pickled Items: Marinated olives, pepperoncini, or pickles provide tangy contrast and extra flavor.
  • Incorporate Fresh Fruits and Veggies: Grapes, cherry tomatoes, figs, or roasted peppers add color, sweetness, and freshness.
  • Include Bread and Crackers: Arrange crostini, breadsticks, or artisanal crackers to complement the meats and cheeses.
  • Add Dips and Spreads: Small bowls of pesto, olive tapenade, hummus, or sun-dried tomato spread bring everything together.
  • Assemble the Board: Arrange all elements on a large platter or wooden board. Mix colors and textures, leaving space between each section for a visually appealing display.

Can I make this board ahead of time? Yes, most air fryer snacks can be prepared in advance and reheated. Meats, cheeses, and spreads can also be arranged just before serving for freshness.

What air fryer snacks work best? Crispy bites like fried olives, mini mozzarella sticks, air-fried nuts, or even tiny meatballs are ideal for adding crunch and flavor.

How do I keep the board visually appealing? Use small bowls for dips and spreads, fold or roll meats, and layer cheeses to create height and texture.

Can I customize the board for dietary preferences? Absolutely. Include vegetarian-friendly items, gluten-free crackers, or dairy-free cheeses to suit your guests.

How do I prevent soggy snacks? Cook air fryer items right before serving, and keep fresh fruits and veggies separate until the last minute.
