When apple season is in Philadelphia, there is nothing better than gathering the family and going apple picking. My kids love doing it, and I love spending time with them. This weekend we went to a nearby farm, and we picked and picked apples.

This is an effortless breakfast or dessert. It is simple; the puff pastry works so well int eh air fryer. And the apples get nice and caramelized with the cinnamon sugar. It’s a perfect blend, and it only takes a few minutes to assemble.

Some Common Questions About Using Puff Pastry in The Air Fryer–

Where Do You Find Puff Pastry?

It is located in the freezer aisle, near the pie crust and frozen bread products.

Can I Use Homemade Puff Pastry?

Absolutely, the recipe will work the same.

Should I Peel The Apples?

No need to; they are cut thin, and I like the flavor the skin gives the pastry.

Can I Make This Ahead Of Time?

This is best when it is hot out of the air fryer; after a while, the puff dough will drop, and the pastry will get soggy.

What Sauces Could I Serve This With?

This goes very well with caramel sauce or peanut butter.

How Do I Thaw Puff Pastry?

You can thaw it at room temperature for about 30 to 40 minutes. Or leave the frozen puff pastry in the refrigerator overnight.
