How To Make Ninja Creami Strawberry Gelato

Milk, cream, sugar, and strawberry mix blended in a Ninja Creami pint container until smooth.

Step One: Add the milk, heavy cream, dry ice cream mix, sugar, and vanilla extract to the Ninja Creami pint container. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and fully combined.

Step Two: Secure the lid tightly and place the pint on a level surface in the freezer. Freeze for a full 24 hours until solid.

Step Three: Remove the frozen pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Insert it into the Ninja Creami machine and select the “Gelato” function. Process until smooth and creamy.

Step Four: Create a small well in the center of the gelato and add the diced strawberries. Return the pint to the machine with the outer lid and paddle attached, then select the “Mix-In” function.

Step Five: If the gelato looks crumbly after processing, add a small splash of milk. Run the “Re-Mix” function until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency. Enjoy right away for soft, freshly spun gelato. For a firmer texture, return it to the freezer for later.

Ninja Creami Strawberry Gelato Recipe Tips

  • Freeze Flat: Make sure the pint freezes on a level surface so it spins evenly. A tilted freeze equals uneven texture.
  • Don’t Rush the 24 Hours: If it’s not completely solid, it won’t churn properly. Patience pays off here.
  • Blend Thoroughly: Fully dissolve the sugar and mix before freezing to avoid icy spots.
  • Use Ripe Strawberries: The sweeter the berries, the better the flavor. If they’re bland, your gelato will be too.
  • Scrape Down the Sides: After the first spin, check for dry edges and re-mix if needed.
  • Customize After Spinning: Mix-ins go in after processing, not before freezing.
  • Re-Spin When Needed: Crumbly texture? A splash of milk and the Re-Mix button fixes it fast.

Storing Instructions

Store leftover gelato in the original Ninja Creami pint container with the lid tightly secured. When ready to enjoy again, let it sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes, then use the “Re-Mix” function to restore that creamy texture.
