Why Make Dog Ice Cream at Home?

Store-bought dog treats are great, but making your own allows you to control the ingredients. Many commercial “dog ice creams” contain sugar, artificial flavors, and additives that aren’t ideal for your pup. With the Ninja Creami, you can make a natural, healthy treat with ingredients you trust.

Ingredients

Ingredients needed for Ninja Creami Dog Ice Cream on kitchen table.

As always, check with your vet to make sure that these ingredients are suitable for your dog.

  • Plain Greek yogurt – Creamy, probiotic-rich base that’s gentle on your pup’s tummy.
  • Peanut butter – Make sure it’s xylitol-free (xylitol is toxic to dogs). Adds flavor and healthy fats.
  • Banana – Natural sweetness and potassium for your dog’s energy.
  • Pumpkin puree (optional) – Great for digestion and adds extra nutrients.
