Tyson Boneless Chicken Wings in Air Fryer

Description

Crispy, juicy Tyson boneless chicken wings straight from the freezer to your plate in 10 minutes — no oil, no thawing, no deep fryer. This is the easiest game-day appetizer in the air fryer, and it works for every flavor: Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Hot, and the smaller Boneless Chicken Bites.

Ingredients 

  • 24 ounces Tyson Any'tizers Boneless Chicken Wyngz , 24 oz to 30.6 oz frozen Tyson Any'tizers Boneless Chicken Wyngz or Tyson Boneless Chicken Bites — any flavor (Buffalo, Honey BBQ, or Hot)
  • 1 teaspoon avocado oil, for extra crisp, optional
  • 1/4 cup Buffalo or BBQ sauce, or BBQ sauce, optional, for tossing after cooking
  • Optional: Ranch, blue cheese dressing, or honey mustard, for dipping,

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Preheating matters — a cold basket = a soggy first batch.
  • Arrange the frozen wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Leave a little space between pieces so the hot air can circulate. Do not stack them. For a large 5.8-qt basket, you can fit about 12–14 wings; cook in two batches for a full bag.
  • Cook at 400°F for 5 minutes. Don't touch them yet.
  • Flip every wing with tongs. This is the difference between okay wings and crispy wings.
  • Cook for another 5 to 7 minutes at 400°F, until the breading is golden and the centers are heated through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
  • (Optional) Toss in extra sauce. Transfer hot wings to a bowl, add ¼ cup sauce, toss to coat, then return to the basket for 60 seconds at 400°F to set the glaze.
  • Serve immediately with ranch, blue cheese, celery, and carrot sticks.

Notes

  • Tyson Boneless Chicken Bites (the smaller bite-size variety) cook faster — use 8 minutes total, flipping at 4 minutes.
  • Bone-in Tyson wings need longer — 22 to 25 minutes total. Use our bone-in Tyson recipe for that version.
  • These are fully cooked from the factory. You are reheating and crisping, not cooking raw chicken. That's why the time is so short.
  • Don't thaw. Frozen → fryer is the right move. Thawing makes the breading soggy.
  • Air fryers vary by 20–30°F between models. If yours runs hot, drop to 380°F. If it runs cool, add 2 minutes.
  • Leftover wings reheat beautifully at 375°F for 3 to 4 minutes.
