A hearty, homemade breakfast sandwich built on a fresh air fryer bagel, layered with a baked egg, a savory sausage patty, and melted cheese. A copycat fast-food favorite made better — and entirely in your air fryer.
Ingredients
1bagel, sliced in half

1breakfast sausage patty
1slicecheese, cheddar, American, or your favorite
Optional: butter, salt, pepper
Instructions
Grease a small oven-safe ramekin with cooking spray and crack the egg inside.
Place the sliced bagel halves (cut-side up) and the ramekin with the egg into the air fryer basket. Set to 330°F for 3 minutes.
Remove the toasted bagel halves and set aside. Add the sausage patty to the basket next to the egg, and cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove the egg ramekin. Increase the temperature to 390°F and cook the sausage for a final 3 minutes, until browned and cooked through (160°F internal).
Place the bottom bagel half on a cutting board. Add the cheese slice, flip the baked egg on top, layer on the sausage patty, and close with the top bagel half.
