Description

Enjoy a deliciously crispy Air Fryer Chicken and Gravy Biscuit Sandwich! This easy recipe combines crispy fried chicken, soft biscuits, and rich gravy for a comfort food classic made in the air fryer.

Ingredients 

  • 1 package Buttermilk Biscuits
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 4 pieces Southern Fried Chicken , see recipe
  • 2 cups Sausage Country Gravy, see recipe
  • 8 pieces cooked bacon
  • 4 pieces American or Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  • Start by making the biscuits, place the refrigerated biscuits into the air fryer, and set the temperature to 320 degrees F, air fryer setting and cook for 5 to 8 minutes. For best results, flip the biscuits halfway during the cooking process. And brush them with butter!
  • Follow the Instant Pot Gravy recipe, and if you do not have an Instant Pot, you can also make that recipe in a small skillet.
  • Then follow the recipe for making the Southern Fried Chicken. If you want cheese, at the last minute, add a piece of Cheddar or American Cheese, and return it to the air fryer until fully melted.
  • To Assemble The Sandwich: Cut your Buttermilk Biscuit, Add your chicken on top, spoon some gravy on top, and then add a couple of pieces of bacon, top it off with a couple of dill pickles (if wanted) and the top of the buttermilk biscuit.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
