Description

Make juicy, flavorful Waffle House-style pork chops at home. Perfectly seasoned, pan-fried, and finished with buttery richness for a comforting meal.

Ingredients 

  • 4 Pork chops, bone-in or boneless
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Pat dry the 4 Pork chops and season both sides with 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon Black pepper, 1 teaspoon Garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon Onion powder.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add pork chops and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Reduce heat to medium and spoon melted 2 tablespoons Butter over chops as they finish cooking.
  • Cook until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from skillet, let rest 3–5 minutes, then serve hot.
