Make juicy, flavorful Waffle House-style pork chops at home. Perfectly seasoned, pan-fried, and finished with buttery richness for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

Pork chops
,
bone-in or boneless

teaspoon
salt
,
or to taste

teaspoon
Black pepper
,
or to taste
1
teaspoon
Garlic powder
1
teaspoon
Onion powder
2
tablespoons
Butter
2
tablespoons
Vegetable oil
Instructions
Pat dry the
4 Pork chops
and season both sides with
1 teaspoon salt
,
1 teaspoon Black pepper
,
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
, and
1 teaspoon Onion powder
.
Heat
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pork chops and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Reduce heat to medium and spoon melted
2 tablespoons Butter
over chops as they finish cooking.
Cook until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Remove from skillet, let rest 3–5 minutes, then serve hot.
