Learn how to make a homemade Big Mac with this easy copycat recipe, featuring a flavorful special sauce, seasoned beef patties, and all the classic toppings!

Ingredients 

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef, 80/20 blend preferred
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Special Sauce/Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Assembly Ingredients:

  • 4 sesame seed buns, with tops of two buns removed for a middle layer
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons Finely diced onions
  • 8 Dill pickle , slices

Instructions

  • Divide the ground beef into 8 small, thin patties (about 2 oz each).
  • Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if needed.
  • Air fry for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • After cooking the patties, place the buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to toast them lightly.
  • Spread the special sauce on the bottom bun.
  • Add shredded lettuce, a slice of cheese, and a beef patty.
  • Place the middle bun on top, then add more sauce, lettuce, pickles, onions, and another beef patty.
  • Top with the final bun and enjoy!
