For the Special Sauce/Big Mac Sauce:
1/2cupmayonnaise
2tablespoonsweet pickle relish
1tablespoonyellow mustard
1teaspoonwhite vinegar
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoononion powder
1/2teaspoonpaprika
Assembly Ingredients:
4sesame seed buns, with tops of two buns removed for a middle layer
4slicesAmerican cheese
1/2cupShredded lettuce
2tablespoonsFinely diced onions
8Dill pickle , slices
Instructions
Divide the ground beef into 8 small, thin patties (about 2 oz each).
Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if needed.
Air fry for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach your desired level of doneness.
After cooking the patties, place the buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to toast them lightly.
Spread the special sauce on the bottom bun.
Add shredded lettuce, a slice of cheese, and a beef patty.
Place the middle bun on top, then add more sauce, lettuce, pickles, onions, and another beef patty.
