Description

Make these crispy, cheesy Texas Roadhouse Cheese Fries at home with golden fries, melted cheddar, and smoky bacon—perfect for game day or a fun family appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces French fries, (steak fries or crinkle-cut recommended)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Ranch dressing, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3-5 minutes.
  • Place frozen fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking basket halfway through, until fries are golden and crispy.
  • While fries cook, crumble bacon and slice green onions.
  • Spread cooked fries evenly in an oven-safe dish or on a baking sheet. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the hot fries.
  • Place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. (Alternatively, you can use the air fryer at 400°F for 2-3 minutes if it has a broil function.)
  • Top with bacon crumbles and green onions.
  • Serve immediately with ranch dressing or your favorite dip.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
