Description

Crispy air fryer steak fries tossed in warm garlic butter and freshly grated Parmesan — an easy 20-minute copycat of Red Robin's famous garlic Parmesan fries.

Ingredients

  • 28 ounces steak fries, 1 bag frozen steak fries
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste

Instructions

  • Add the frozen steak fries to the air fryer basket in as close to a single layer as possible. Air fry at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • While the fries cook, melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Stir in the minced garlic and let it soften in the warm butter.
  • Add the hot, crispy fries to the bowl and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley, toss again so the cheese melts slightly, season with salt to taste, and serve immediately.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

  • Keep the fries frozen until they go into the basket for the crispiest result.
  • Don't overcrowd — cook in batches if doubling.
  • For an oven version, bake the steak fries per package directions, then toss with the garlic butter and cheese.
