Description

Air Fryer Peruvian Lomo Saltado -- If you love Peruvian cuisine, then this recipe is for you! Air fryer Lomo Saltado is a delicious meal that will have your taste buds dancing. The meat and fresh veggies are stir-fried in an air fryer to create the perfect blend of flavors. You can also try this dish with shrimp or chicken if beef isn't your thing.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, diced
  • 1 pound frozen French Fries
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 2 large toamtoes, cut into wedges
  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white viengar, 1
  • 1 bunch cilantor, choppped finealy
  • 1 cup (uncooked) basmati rice
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Start by washing and cooking your basmati rice. Add 2 cups of water to a pot, bring to a boil, add your washed rice, and bring the heat down to low. Cover with a lid and cook for about 16 minutes.
  • Add your Frozen Fries To your air fryer and cook for 14-16 minutes on 400 degrees F, air fryer setting. Set them aside.
  • In a small bowl, add the sliced sirloin steak, olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper, mix well coating the steak.
  • Transfer to the air fryer basket, and cook until browned for about 5-7 minutes, at 350 degrees F, air fryer setting.
  • When the steak is almost cooked, add your diced red onions and garlic, cook, until fragrant and browned, and add your sliced tomatoes. Air Fry for another 2 minutes. Make you're your tomatoes don't get too soft. It needs to keep its texture.
  • Mix in the fresh diced cilantro.
  • Serve the beef on a bed of rice and fries. Enjoy!
