Instructions
Shape 1 lb ground beef into 4 equal patties. Season both sides lightly with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Top each patty with a 4 slices cheddar cheese during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Toast the 4 burger buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes for extra flavor and crunch.
